Leave the Autobahn and turn right towards Bolzano, after 700 meters take the deflection towards Rencio/Rentsch at the roundabout. Pass the suburb Rencio/Rentsch and look for the sign Bolzano/Bozen City begin. After that sign take the first right at the traffic lights.
A22 Bolzano Sud
Leave the Autobahn and head for the city center/railway station passing Piazza Verdi. Pass the station and take the first street on the left then at the end turn right. Now straight on passing Piazza Dogana into Via Brennero.

Hotel Scala Stiegl & Surroundings Our Hotel is situated quite conveniently only 5-10 minutes by foot away from the historic city core with its shoppingstreets and landmarks. The station is as well within walking distance, also 5-10 miuntes, a cab ride takes only 2 minutes. Literally around the corner you find the Renon cablecar. The short ride of approx. 10 minutes takes you up to the tradional Sommerfrische resort (Summertime resort) of the Renon high plateau, there you can find plenty of opportunity for rambling or simply enjoy the amazing mountain panorama. If you walk along Via Beda-Weber alongside the Hotel you willl find the quiet Oswaldweg which leads you through a residential zone to the beginning of the St. Oswald promenade, ideal for a short walk or for the more sporty amongst us even some jogging.
Terrace garden
Our restaurant caters for up to 80 guests and is the ideal ambience for family reunions and business lunches. Rudolf Stolz affrescos of the cycle of the 12 months create a unique surrounding where guests can enjoy our Headchef Paul Trbingers rinomated cusine. From April to September we open our garden restaurant where our guest can find shadow and fresh air even in the hottest summer month thanks to 3 century old trees.
Our hotel has as well a large swimming pool and a fantastic garden, where our guest can find either rest in the shadows of ancient trees or enjoy the rays of the spring and summer sun until the late hours in the afternoon. There are as well inviting sitting areas where guests can hold more relaxed meetings and and enjoy some drinks.
