From the airport Napoli Capodichino take the motorway direction Naples Port approximately 15 minutes. The island is reached by hydrofoil or Ferry. On the island - busses or micro taxis are available to reach your destination. By ferry the island of Ischia is connected to the mainland by ferry and hydrofoil services which depart from Naples harbors of Molo Beverello with Linee Lauro and Caremar ferries and from Mergellina with Lauro and Snav hydrofoil services; as well as from Pozzuoli on Traghetti Pozzuoli and Caremar ferries. Ferry boats only service Ischia Porto and Casamicciola harbours while hydrofoils also reach Forio d Ischia. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes by hydrofoil and 70 minutes by ferry boat.
